Polibak was established in 1992 by Bakioglu Holding.

The two Polibak factories are setup on 71,000 sqm are located in Ataturk Government Organized Industrial Park Zone of Cigli Izmir Turkey.

Polibak produces Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene, Cast Polypropylene, and Metallized Plastic films in rolls for the Flexible Packaging and Converting industries. Polibak is one of the leading manufacturers in its sector in Turkey.

200 people have teamed up to run Polibak company.

Polibak has ISO 9001 and AIB certificates. Polibak goes through unannounced audits twice a year from Hygiene, Sanitation, Good Manufacturing practice, contamination and HACCP subjects.

Polibak currently has a total annual production capacity of 40,000 tons.  Polibak also produces 10,000 tons of  metallized film annually. Polibak turns over 60 Million USD annually and exports 30 Million USD of it.

Polibak exports into three continents and 20 countries leaded by mainly United Kingdom, France, İtaly and Germany in Europe and United States.

The coextrusion lines of Polibak are equipped with computerized automatic profile control systems where the produced thickness is always monitored by the thickness measurement and controlling device. Polibak assures a thickness profile variation of below 1 micron on 25 micron thickness

The coextrusion lines are equipped with computer formulation controlled automatic screw gravimetric dosage systems where upto 12 different raw materials can be mixed very precisely and consistently

Polibak films are widely used in the packaging of Snack Foods, Biscuits, Confectionary, Ice Cream, Pasta, Pulses, Instant drinks, Pudings, Soups, Chocolate bars, Baked products, Bread, Bottle Labels, Vegetables, Fruits, Gift overwraps and Textile products.
